A
'Kijito' windmill along the side of the Mara River will pump water to
a water reservoir located 2 Km away, on top of a hill near Lyamisanga. This
project is complete.
The
water from the reservoir will be used by the villages around this
hill to prepare food, as drinking water, as for the cattle and to irrigate
the farm land.
Once
this project is operations and appears to be working positively, more of these windmills will be placed along the
Mara River.
